Love the Elements with Rainbird

I've been a long time fan of Rainbird clothing with their classic shapes and bright colours - they're perfect for brightening up a rainy day.  They've been designing rainwear for over 25 years and are my goto for practical, yet fun jackets for the wet weather.

Last weekend in Perth was a perfect opportunity for the kids to wear their new Rainbird waterproof coats (they'd been bugging me to wear them since they arrived the week before!).  The weather was changeable to say the least - icy cold winds and rain then blasting hot sun, a typical Perth Autumn day.

The eldest daughter chose the Pyxis rain jacket in bright red which suits her beautiful pale complexion.  The Pyxis is perfect for the older girl with it's drawstring waist and deep hood.  The best thing about a lightweight rain jacket like this is you can layer a hoodie underneath and when the rain stops, the jacket just about packs away to nothing.  Miss 10 was only a little excited to find that it had an internal headphone port!

Miss 7 was completely smitten with the Kids Stowaway Print Jacket and found it so difficult to choose between the "Beary Cool" polar bear print and the "Raspberry Metallic".  If I'm honest I convinced her a little as this polka dot jacket is completely darling on her.
The Stowaway does exactly what it's name suggest - it packs into a handy little bag BUT if you don't want to carry that it folds down into its own pocket.

Rainbird also kindly gifted my son the rather grown up Dorado Jacket, but taking a photo of an eleven year old boy is a bit like finding a unicorn at the breakfast table.

I apologise if this post is a little photo heavy, I'm slightly biased in thinking my daughters are the cutest in their bright little jackets!  Roll on some Perth rain so we can test them out properly.

Rainbird Clothing kindly gifted these jackets with a view to receiving my opinion, which is, as always, unbiased.
