Raine Square - Brekkie, Set, Go!

I've always been of the opinion that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  Regardless of these fads of intermittent fasting, and skipping meals, I get super cranky if I haven't eaten something by 9am.  My kids are the same and I always make sure they eat a decent breakfast before school.

If you're in the city for work, or pleasure, early in the morning, then Raine Square is the place to get all your brekkie needs sorted.  Whether you need to grab something on the run, or you have time for a leisurely breakfast, Raine Square has all your options covered.

Raine Square invited my children and I to check out their breakfast options and we were spoilt for choice.  I started off by trying to convince them to have the chocolate marscapone pancakes with strawberries at The Boheme Bar but they didn't want to sit still and eat, and they had their little hearts set on a Boost Juice (always a hit with the kids, and packed full of vitamins too!).  The Boheme Bar is open from 7am for breakfast, perfect for those early breakfast meetings.

Whilst they were getting their mango magic fixes at Boost, I grabbed my first coffee of the day from Maven Espresso and tried to avoid making eye contact with the stunning cupcakes that they had for sale.  They do offer delicious protein balls though, for those needing a healthier sweet treat with their coffee, so I bagged one of the salted caramel ones.

After a leisurely walk around the centre deciding what to try next, we headed to Coles and grabbed some fresh strawberries which were eaten on the go.  Coles has a fabulous range of brekkie essentials, including lots of fresh fruits, yoghurts, protein bars and, most importantly, take out coffee.  An ideal pitstop on the way to the office to snag some healthy snacks to keep you going throughout the morning.

If carbs are your thing, you can't go wrong with Baker's Delight which is right next door and packed with tasty treats to give you an energy boost first thing.

We headed down to a little cafe called Game City which is currently offering one of Raine Square's October breakfast deals - coffee and banana bread for $6 - of course I upgraded to a large coffee for an extra dollar.  We met up with The Fashionable Dad and treated him to a sausage and egg sanga for a fabulous price of just $5.50.  Game City is a kids' paradise, as it's packed with arcade games to keep little people happy whilst you enjoy your coffee.

Other great brekkie choices at Raine Square are Willy Wagtails (arguably the best coffee spot in Perth),  Biscotti (open from 6.30am and had some delicious looking brekkie wraps on offer) and Jester's Pies (I am not about to tell you that their brekkie deal has coffee and a Krispy Kreme for just $5.95 - I absolutely am not).

So, next time you race into the city on an empty stomach, head to Raine Square for a host of healthy, tasty breakfast options.  And don't forget, that October sees some fabulous brekkie deals to make breakfast even sweeter - keep an eye on their Facebook page of the latest offers.

What's your favourite brekkie in a hurry?

This post was sponsored by Raine Square - all opinions, though, belong to me and my darling daughters.

  1. Looks great. I love Raine Square but haven't actually been in to case their breakfast options. Will definitely have to keep it in mind, next time I'm in the city for a breakfast meeting.

  2. Looks like a fabulous place. Thanks for sharing, will have to keep an eye out for it if I am ever in that neck of the woods.

  3. How lucky you are to have such a place close by! I love being on holiday in big cities and going out for breakfast. There's nothing quite like it. :)

    1. Me too, Jess, particularly now the kids are old to enough to realise what a treat it is :)

I love getting comments!
