The $50 Outfit Challenge with Agent Mystery Case

My husband thinks it's hilarious how I laugh at my own jokes.  In fact, I start laughing before I've even finished telling the joke.

When I created this little video (you need the sound or it's not funny in the slightest), for Agent Mystery Case and The Fashionable Mum's collaboration, I was laughing all the way through, so much so the kids had to come and find out what I was up to.  By the end of it's creation, my three little ravers were dancing away to Vanilla Ice - love it!

There was almost as much merriment when I joined Raychael from Agent Mystery Case for her Finding My Style $50 outfit challenge a couple of weeks back.  Raychael is keen on streamlining her wardrobe but updating it at the same time - no mean feat!

To kick off the Finding my Style Challenge, we spent a very productive day at Westfield Innaloo, fuelled by caffeine and giggles.

I recently announced my personal styling business on the blog and Raychael put my skills to the test and I think (I hope!) she was impressed with just how far I can make fifty bucks stretch.

We all like to look good, and most of us are constrained by a budget.  It doesn't cost much to update your wardrobe as you can see from the looks I created below.  All of these goodies are from Kmart, which is an ideal starting place if you want to get more bang for your buck.

WIN! WIN! WIN! Do you fancy a go at creating some winter outfits for under $50?  If you do, head over to Agent Mystery Case to find all the details of how you could win a $50 Westfield Innaloo voucher.  And even better than that, you get to start your shopathon with a coffee date with Raychael and myself.

If you're not in Perth don't worry - there's a mystery competition for you coming up soon, too.

  1. I'm both impressed and inspired by what you can do with $50! I think I need to clear out my wardrobe and give it a refresh now.

    1. I really need that wardrobe audit pronto. I'm super impressed with Vicki's efforts. You should have seen her in action. Not entirely sure I'm allowed to share the behind the scenes video. Although most of it has us both laughing.
