Budget Beauty - Garnier Miracle Skin Cream Review

I love discovering new beauty products but I don't have the budget to buy as many as I probably used to.  Gone are the days when I had drawers STACKED with products that had been tested once or twice then discarded when the new shiny product hit the shelves.  This is not a good strategy - beauty products don't last forever, so are really best used continually or at least frequently once opened.

This latest purchase is one that I feel I'll be buying over and over as it really is a bit wonderful and a great price.  Garnier Miracle Skin Cream was released over a year ago in the UK and has finally hit the Aussie shelves.  It's a kind of moisturiser and a kind of BB cream all rolled into one, but one thing is true - it makes your skin look freaking amazing.

The cream contains 7 anti-aging thingies, including Pro-retinol (which I know is a good thing for fighting those pesky crinkles), LHA (which is a kind of chemical scrub and helps cleanse the skin of dead cells) and some other vitamins and bits.  It's SPF15 which is a little disappointing as I try not to leave the house with less than a 20 on my face.

The exciting thing about this miraculous product is that on application, the white cream is transformed by the pH of your skin to match your skin tone.  It leaves the skin glowing with a radiance normally reserved for more energetic pursuits.

No BB Cream required! (And no filters either - I didn't edit this snap at all, so enjoy the wrinkles!)

I would happily use this cream on it's own, instead of a BB cream or tinted moisturiser and just finish it with a little bit of powder on my T zone.  Later in the week, I'll be sharing the other budget beauty buys that I've used in this everyday look.

Garnier Miracle Skin Cream is usually $19.95 but is currently a bit cheaper at Priceline for $14.95.

Have you tried it yet?  Do you love it as much as me?

  1. Looks fantastic. I'm definitely going to have to try this. I recently fine tuned my skin care and make up routine and just had the essentials. With three teen girls in the house, we are back drowning in products again.

  2. A facial mask can be highly beneficial for improving the texture of your skin. An oatmeal mask is the best option for getting rid of wrinkles. Even you can use baking soda on your skin for exfoliation purposes. rejuvenation skin treatment
